Metro Council meets tonight

LOCAL NEWS — The Metro Council will hold its November meeting tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the American Legion Building. There will be a Highway Advisory Board meeting at 6:20 p.m. The council re-scheduled this meeting from it’s usual third Monday of the month date to accommodate a scheduling conflicts with several board members.

New Business on the agenda for tonight’s meeting include the rezoning 1.02 acres in Moore County from agricultural to residential as well as the Metro Utilities Department bond resolution.

The American Legion Building is located at 119 Booneville Highway. All Metro Council meetings are open to the general public. •
